Welcome to Horses Inside Out.
To a farrier, all horse issues are a hoof issue. To a trainer, all horse issues are a training issue. To an instructor, all horse issues are student issues. To a vet all horse issues are physical issues. To a saddle fitter, all horse issues are a saddle issue.
And so on.
Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against those modalities, they certainly have their place in the horse world.
People tend to diagnose the issues they experience the most and that are the most obvious to them within their body of knowledge and desires.
For instance, the vet may come for a right hind lameness presentation and go through all kinds of examination techniques and find nothing definitive. They often recommend bute or stall rest.
Every part of a horse is connected to every other part of the horse. A hoof problem cam be caused by an ear problem and vice versa.
And, the inside of the horse can be affected by the outside of the horse and vice versa.
